The BAVARIA FILM Group presents its own productions and programs throughout the globe. BAVARIA MEDIA secures film and television rights, coordinates co-production and co-financing. Its core business comprises centrally directed rights management, expansion of rights stocks and market-oriented exploitation – nationally and internationally.

Its goal is to bring together a wide range of quality programs and to make joint appearances at the large markets and trade fairs (MIPCOM, MIP TV, German Screenings). Further association members are german united documentary (Cologne) and Studio Hamburg Fernsehallianz (Hamburg) as well as the broadcasters WDR and NDR. |
Bavaria Sonor Musikverlag und Merchandising GmbH, a subsidiary of Bavaria Film GmbH, was founded in 1979. "Bavaria Sonor" is a music publishing house and agency for licensing and merchandising. The headquarters of the company is the Bavaria Filmstadt in Geiselgasteig near Munich.
