Peter Ostermayr temporarily leaves Emelka and founds a new company in Berlin. His brother Franz Osten takes on the technical management of the Emelka production.
The company's share capital is increased to 75 million Marks and, in the following year, converted to 2.5 million Gold Marks in the first Gold Mark balance sheet.
The "Reichsfilmblatt" (Imperial Film Gazette) calls Geiselgasteig a "Los Angeles in the Isar Valley".
