History 1986

Johnny Halliday and Jürgen Prochnow play the leading roles in Pierre Williams Glenn's science-fiction film END OF THE LINE. Hajo Gies makes the second Schimanski cinema film ZABOU. By order of the European Production Community (EPG), formed by seven European television companies (ZDF, ORF, SRG, RAI, Antenne 2, Channel 4 and RTVE), Klaus Emmerich produces the pilot film MISSION EUREKA. In lieu of the Berliner Straße, the so-called Münchner Straße is built. The length of the facades is 310 metres. At the widest point, the street measures 45 metres, 85 metres at the longest. Two squares have also been integrated. On April 1, Dieter Minx becomes the successor to Lutz Hengst, Head of Production for many years. The method of video synchronisation is used for the first time for the continuation of EIN STÜCK HIMMEL.
