Jan S. Kaiser

Jan Kaiser is the managing director of Bavaria Fernsehproduktion since its foundation in 2007. He started his carreer in 1992 as line producer at the "Neue Deutsche Filmgesellschaft" (ndF). In 1999 he became head of production and in 2002 he changed to the Bavaria Film Group occupying the same position. From 2004 - 2016 he also was the managing director of Bavaria Pictures (Buddenbrooks, sold to over 25 countries; Mr. Morgan’s Last Love, sold to over 30 countries, Ludwig II, sold to over 20 countries, etc.). He received the Bavarian Film Price (best producer) for Hotel Lux.
