Glanzvoller Empfang der Bavaria Film zum 100. Geburtstag

Geiselgasteig – Die Bavaria Film hat ihren 100. Geburtstag schwungvoll während des FILMFEST MÜNCHEN gefeiert. Aufgrund des besonderen Anlasses kamen rund 1000 geladene Gäste zu den Feierlichkeiten auf das Studiogelände nach Geiselgasteig. Höhepunkte der Veranstaltung bildeten eine Geburtstagsansprache des Bayerischen Ministerpräsidenten Dr. Markus Söder sowie die Umbenennung der großen Film- und Show-Studiohalle 9, die ab jetzt „Wolfgang-Petersen-Halle“ heißt. In Anwesenheit von Wolfgang Petersen übernahm Michael Bully Herbig die Laudatio. Im Anschluss an den von Sandra Rieß moderierten Festakt beehrte sich Ministerpräsident Dr. Markus Söder zum traditionellen Bavaria Film Fest Empfang einzuladen.

Mit dem Filmregisseur, Drehbuchautor und Erfolgsproduzenten Wolfgang Petersen verbindet die Bavaria Film insbesondere der weltweite Erfolg der Produktion „Das Boot“ (1981). Hinzu kommen der ebenfalls in den Bavaria Studios entstandene Fantasy-Klassiker „Die unendliche Geschichte“ (1984) sowie das Science-Fiction-Spektakel „Enemy Mine“ (1985). Für diese Produktion wurde seinerzeit das Studio 9 auf dem Gelände der Bavaria errichtet.

Unter den rund 1000 Gästen des Abends waren neben zahlreichen Vertretern aus Politik und Medienwirtschaft viele Branchengrößen sowie bekannte Stars und Wegbegleiter der Bavaria Film. Darunter: Maria Furtwängler, Johannes B. Kerner, Annette Frier, Senta Berger, Nina Eichinger, Edgar Selge, Julia Koschitz, Miroslav Nemec, Aylin Tezel, Armin Rohde und Jochen Schropp. Auch Produzenten-Legenden wie der ehemalige Geschäftsführer der Bavaria Film, Prof. Günter Rohrbach sowie Kameramann und Regisseur Joseph Vilsmaier waren zur Jubiläumsfeier gekommen.
